the thesis
I believe the best stories are lived-in; there is something so sacred about a celebration met with presence and sincerity. Your photographs should hold a mirror to that: tear-stained cheeks and loud laughs and all the rest! I love letting every aspect make the final edit, from the humor to the irony to the emotionality. If you’re nervous about photos, know that the best ones come from personality. I’ll guide you along the way, but it’s impossible to mess up! Your gallery is a reflection of wholeheartedness that only grows richer and more meaningful with time.
Editing wise, your images will stay true to life in color to complement the real feel of the moment. I aim for familiar over flawless, with a style that ages gracefully, is “art smart,” and keeps you at the forefront.

why choose hybrid digital+film?
I started on the “digital as film” editing trend years ago, until I realized nothing can quite rival the real thing. In my opinion, the slowness of film makes it the most tangible form of photography. When you opt for a digital + film hybrid gallery, you open the doors to both class and edge, IMO, the best place to be!
Getting to know film has also retaught me how to shoot digital with more intention. So hybrid wedding photography isn’t just for those who love film, but for those who want intentional digital, too. It pulls me deeper into the story in front of me, leaning into real life and shooting for where feeling and form intersect.
It’s also the only medium I bring on personal trips, because film feels like returning to my roots and loosening my grip on control. Film has a sense of humor and fun, but it also holds weight. It waits for the moment. Film will bring back memories you forget even happened, but are so grateful to have on record.
