I’ve been photographing people for nearly a decade, with ten years of portrait experience and two years focused on building a wedding portfolio. I've earned a B.F.A. in photography from Cal Poly SLO and have been mentored by some of the best in the industry! Over the years, I’ve also learned to master a wide range of lighting situations and adapt to all kinds of environments. I know when to quietly step back and observe, and when to confidently direct a crowd so your wedding day flows smoothly. My goal is always less time posing for the camera, and more time spent in meaningful moments with your partner, guests, environment! Around 2 months before your wedding or elopement, we’ll start to fine-tune details: family shot lists, timelines, and final inspo through virtual or in-person chats. Solid planning means less stress, so you can be fully present with your loved ones at your event!

Day-of I take a documentary approach, letting real moments unfold. The most emotional images are truly the ones taken in a burst of spontaneity. But for formals (couples, bridal party,+family pics) I’m always ready to jump in with posing ideas and keep things running as smooth as humanly possible!

100% YES. I am a huge location lover and have an extensively large bank of knowledge on the best places to shoot in CA and ID, as well as touching into OR and WA.

I have two super detailed, intentional guides for ID+CA that I will send to you before our shoot that cover both of these topics. As for my OR+WA friends, I will help scout out custom location suggestions for you and your vision!

Loaded question, right? Technology can definitely be unpredictable, so having someone who’s ready and trained for anything is key, especially when it comes to something as sacred as your wedding day or portraits.

I always shoot with two SD cards for instant backups, and once I’m home, your images go straight onto two separate hard drives. For weddings, I bring two high-end, full-frame Canon DSLRs in case of any tech glitches, plus multiple lenses so I’m prepared for all kinds of lighting and environments.

With a Photography degree from Cal Poly SLO, you can trust that I know how to handle tricky lighting and roll with whatever weather comes our way: rain, snow, clouds, etcetera (as long as it's safe, of course). I’ve got the passion and the determination; my 100% commitment to this career has carried me through a lot (truly, a lot lol) of classes, and almost a decade of hands-on experience in the field!

I also enjoy being super intentional during the planning process. I’ll send you my custom ARP guides with all the tips and tricks, whether it’s outfits, locations, or wedding day logistics. I’m not the type to simply show up and dip out; I want to be there for you through every step of the process, sharing everything I’ve learned over the years. No gatekeeping here.

I love anybody who is openly joyous (not afraid of laughing loudly, getting a little mud on the shoes, or hugging any and everybody at their wedding) and cares about experience rather than checking every box on a shot list.

I get so stoked to work with people who are bold and expressive, whether that’s in outfits, emotion, decor... I love dreaming up something both alive and lived-in and vibe so hard with people who ride that same wave. My favorite events to photograph play with funky details and mystique, sometimes soaked in color, sometimes pared down like a classic 90s movie. No matter the vibe, they trade out cookie-cutter trends for something truer: intentional design that reflects you and everything you hold close. If you’re into the vibrance of a garden party, the poetry of mossy forest trails, a wallpaper-covered, craftsman-style home in the vineyard, or simply (and above all else) a whole lotta heart and joy-drenched moments, I guarantee we’ll click!

These are just a few examples, and definitely not where it ends. Every story holds its own kind of magic, but the ones that feel a little unconventional, push the envelope when it feels right, and reflect who you are fully and unapologetically are where I feel most at home.

Both yes and no. Most sessions (engagements, bridals, seniors, etc.) are primarily digital with some film mixed in. That said, I’m always open to shooting entirely on film if that’s something that speaks to you.

Weddings allow for a bit more nuance. I offer a three-tiered sub-package structure that pairs with my 8- and 10-hour coverage options, helping me gauge how much digital or film to aim for while photographing your day:

BASELINE. Mostly digital / a touch of film

MIDWAY. A more balanced mix between digital and film

FULLY FILM. with a digital safeguard if / where needed

These sub-packages will be elaborated upon more during and after the booking process to avoid initial info overload! All you need to know for now: the more film, the smaller the final gallery image count, and a Fully Film package will incur an extra fee to cover bulk film costs.

I don’t promise an exact ratio of digital to film in the final gallery as my shooting day-of is extremely intuitive, and that flexibility allows me to stay present with you rather than stress about switching cameras or missing moments. I also don’t offer “mostly film / touch of digital” weddings, to ensure I can give both mediums the full time and attention needed to reach gallery minimums and bring out their best qualities.

Overall, I always recommend not reading too deeply into what’s digital versus film when browsing my portfolio. If you like what you see in my portfolio, allow that to be the main catalyst driving you to book!

No matter which package you pick, you’ll get a Pic-Time digital gallery with all your final edited photos plus download and printing rights. The gallery is linked to a print shop, so ordering copies is a breeze. Shoot me a message to hear more about what’s included!

Nope, RAW images are for my eyes only, think of them as half-baked. Editing is where the magic happens to craft a gallery that truly reflects your session or wedding day! For the same reason, editing over the final images isn’t allowed. When you hire me, you’re choosing my full creative process, trust me to bring your photos to life.

Galleries can be expected within 4 weeks for regular sessions and between 1-2 months for weddings and elopements. Any packages booked in 2025 onwards will also receive sneak peeks within 3 days of working together for sessions and 1 week for events!

Once we have chosen a date or package depending on your desired coverage type, I will get you secured in the books by having you pay a 15% non-refundable deposit and sign a contract outlining expectations.

I am primarily based out of both Boise, ID. and Folsom, CA., and also extend comfortably into the entire PNW, but I am open to traveling wherever you'd like me to photograph you and your story!

Unfortunately, I have recently niched-down and am no longer offering maternity or family sessions. Since I have very limited experience in these areas, I do not feel comfortable providing a service in which I don't think I could give you the absolute best for your investment! However, I deeply appreciate your interest and consideration! :)

Totally! I offer all of these (and more!) for an additional fee: day-before coverage (rehearsal dinner, date night, etc.), day-after coverage (bridals, brunch, etc.), a second shooter, BTS iPhone footage. If there’s something specific you have in mind, just ask, I’m always open to considering if I can make it happen!

You can expect to feel guided and hopefully understood leading up, and your gallery to feel immersive, candid, and artsy with a funky and honest flair.
